The method involves communicating environment detecting devices e.g. cameras (1, 2) such as smart camera, with each other by a communication medium. Environmental informations e.g. image information and/or audio information, correlated with each other are synchronously detected by the environment detecting devices. The detecting devices are processed independent from each other under same regulations. The correlated data is used for data encryption and/or error detection by the detecting devices communicating with each other. An independent claim is also included for an environment detecting device comprising an image and/or audio detecting unit.
