<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce parts which are operated at high speed in an image display system. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to an image display for displaying an image, which includes: a display panel composed of a set of display pixels which are arranged in matrix; a gate driver for sequentially driving the display pixel; a source driver for supplying a display data of an image to the display pixel; a display data transfer part for transferring the display data to the source driver; a plurality of cores provided corresponding to a plurality of areas made by vertically and horizontally dividing an image display area of a display panel, which has the same connection relation with that in the plurality of areas; and an input part for inputting the display data to be displayed in the display pixel arranged in each area. Each of the plurality of cores includes a decoder for decoding the input display data, and a memory for storing the decoded display data. The display data transfer part reads the display data to be displayed on the display pixel, in parallel, from the memory in which the display data is stored, and transfers it to the source driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
