PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mode switch device which can prevent fingers from being pinched between a shift lever and a finisher even when the shift lever is short, and which is downsized. SOLUTION: In the driving mode switch device 1 having the shift lever 5 which protrudes from a shift gate 3a opening at the finisher 3 and switches a plurality of drive modes by rotating, a shape of the finisher 3 is made to be a curved surface shape and curvature of the finisher 3 is set to curvature of rotary trajectory of the shift lever 5 or larger.
