PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein, when a speaker unit and a case surrounding it are mutually influenced by vibration of them, reproducibility of sound waves generated from a speaker is degraded; and, in a conventional approach, the degradation is solved by improving the speaker unit and the case, whereby the existing case and speaker unit are not be utilized, maintenance and replacement are difficult to implement, the design and manufacturing know-how of a conventional case are not utilized, and manufacturing cost is increased because the case is resultantly machined. SOLUTION: In this speaker unit including a damping mechanism for reducing influence of vibration between the speaker unit and a case, and this device for damping a conventional speaker unit, advantages of unitization which are essentially provided for the speaker unit, and allows the speaker unit to be detached or attached to another case are inherent therein, and input sound-wave signals is further faithfully reproduced without remarkably changing design concept or a manufacturing method of the case for attaching the speaker unit.
