Disclosed is a signal detection method in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, which includes that: an evolved Node B (eNodeB) obtains a signal power Ps and a noise power Pn by calculation according to a data portion of a signal sent by a User Equipment (UE) in a channel resource, a Constant Amplitude Zero Auto-Correlation (CAZAC) sequence distributed to the UE, an orthogonal sequence W distributed to the UE, and a self-stored sequence Wn that is orthogonal to W; compares the ratio of Ps to Pn with a preset threshold; and determines a corresponding detection result according to the comparison result. An apparatus for signal detection in a LTE system is also provided. The method and apparatus can accurately and easily detect whether a UE has initiated a scheduling request or whether a discontinuous transmission (DTX) has occurred, so that an eNodeB can determine whether to continue by sending a follow-up message or to resend the message that the UE has failed to receive, thereby enhancing the scheduling performance of the eNodeB. |
