<p>Provided are a control apparatus for the number of revolutions of an engine and a control method for the number of revolutions of an engine, capable of determining a no load condition of a working machine independently of the working machine and automatically switching to idling. The control apparatus for the number of revolutions of an engine is provided with a storage unit (8) in which a throttle opening angle threshold value corresponding to a target number of revolutions of an engine (20) is stored; a first determination means for reading out the throttle opening angle threshold value corresponding to the target number of revolutions from the storage unit (8) and for determining whether the current throttle opening angle is below the throttle opening angle threshold value; a target revolution number determination unit (16) for setting the number of revolutions to reduce the target number of revolutions to a low idle speed when it is determined that the current throttle opening angle is below the throttle opening angle threshold value corresponding to the target number of revolutions; and an opening angle adjustment unit (14) for adjusting the opening angle of a throttle valve (10) on the basis of the target number of revolutions.</p> |
