<p>A method and receiving side device for triggering a status report in a radio link control layer are provided. The method comprises the following steps: 1) a receiving side of an acknowledged mode entity of a radio link control layer detects the amount of undelivered data in a sliding window of said receiving side, and if the amount of said undelivered data exceeds a first threshold value, then said acknowledged mode entity enters a sending adjust state of dynamic status reports; and 2) in said sending adjust state, said receiving side of the acknowledged mode entity determines whether to send a status report according to a first predetermined condition. The present invention can trigger the sending of relevant status reports before the sliding window is congested, thus enables the sending side to re-transmit the lost data as soon as possible, which solves the technical problem of the prior art that the service time delay increases and even the service is interrupted for a short term due to that the acknowledged mode sliding window can not shrink in time.</p> |
