The trap has truncated cones and pyramid cones with pipe supports at both ends for connection to pipe systems, where the trap exhibits geometrical form and surface conditions in interior of the trap. The trap is made of stainless steel, iron or non-ferrous metals, glass, porcelain, ceramic, clay, stoneware, plastic, synthetic resin, zinc, copper, aluminum, fiber reinforced composite materials, cast steel or cast iron. An inner form and dimensions of the trap are selected such that rats do not adhere and/or slip off at/from inner walls of the trap.
