The device (10) has a reflector (18) with a reflection surface assigned to a light source (22). The reflector includes a transparent material, and the reflection surface is formed on a side of the reflector turned away to the light source. The reflection surface includes facets that are provided with facet surfaces for reflecting the light sent by the light source, where the facet surfaces are inclined relative to the reflection surface. The light reflected by the facet surfaces passes through a transparent material i.e. glass or plastic, of the reflector.
