<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffraction optical element which has good wavelength characteristics, while preventing reflections. <P>SOLUTION: The diffraction optical element (110) includes two sheets of optical members (11, 12), which are laminated by arranging diffraction optical surfaces with lattice structure formed at a first pitch (Pd) to face each other. Furthermore, the diffraction optical element (110) has, on one surface thereof, concavo-convex structure (80) formed at a second pitch (Ps) which is shorter than a reference wavelength of light which transmits through the diffraction optical element (110). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
