摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display panel that improves image quality by reducing discrepancy between a gamma curve of transmittance and that of reflectance. <P>SOLUTION: In the transflective liquid crystal display having a transmission area and a reflection area, a transmissive electrode connected to a switch unit m<SB>th</SB>SW controls a liquid crystal layer in the transmission area, and a reflective electrode connected to the switch unit via a capacitor controls the liquid crystal layer in the reflection area. In the display, the conventional problem of low reflectance due to high transmittance is solved by using an independent capacitor C<SB>C</SB>to cause a reflectance curve in the reflection area to shift toward a direction of high voltage, and the discrepancy between the gamma curve of transmittance and that of reflectance is reduced by using an adjustment capacitor C<SB>2</SB>connected between the reflective electrode and another common-line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
