<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a defective product, while attaining low power consumption during standby. <P>SOLUTION: An LED head includes a plurality of LED arrays 200, a plurality of driver ICs 100 which on/off-drives the LED arrays 200 based on a print drive signal HD-STB-N, a reference signal generation circuit 70 or the like which generates a reference signal VREF based on a standby signal STBY established in a logic state different from the print drive signal HD-STB-N. The driver ICs 100 have a mode conversion instructing means which generates the standby signal STBY, a control voltage generating circuit which outputs a control voltage which instructs the drive amount to the LED arrays 200 based on the standby signal STBY and the reference signal VREF, a driver which on/off-drives the LED arrays 200 based on the print drive signal HD-STB-N and the control voltage, and a STBY terminal which outputs the standby signal STBY to the reference signal generating circuit 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
