PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system for a vehicle capable of having higher security while having higher versatility. SOLUTION: When authentication to a center server 4 is successful, charging an on-vehicle battery 17 from a charger 2 including an authentication function is permitted. In the meantime, by prescribing the number of possible charge times without any authentication, namely the number of times of charging to the on-vehicle battery 17 from a charger 3 without any authentication function, charging the on-vehicle battery 17 from the charger 3 without any authentication function is limited.
