PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding optical ferrule and a method of manufacturing optical ferrule, to improve accuracy of positioning a pin for molding an optical fiber hole, etc. SOLUTION: The mold 40 for molding optical ferrule includes: a lower mold 44 having a cavity for molding a ferrule body; an upper mold 46 for covering the cavity; and a core 48 arranged between the lower mold and the upper mold. The core is disposed so as to protrude to a core body 54 and includes an optical fiber insertion port molding protrusion part 56 which molds an optical fiber insertion port and optical fiber insertion path molding pins 58 which mold an optical fiber insertion path. The lower mold has a recessed lower mold body 62 which forms the cavity. A front wall surface 70 on the cavity front side has optical fiber hole molding holes 76 for molding an optical fiber holes, to which the tip parts of the optical fiber insertion path molding pins are inserted. A pin supporter 80 is disposed which has optical fiber insertion path molding pin holes 82 arranged on the cavity with a spacing from the front wall surface of the lower mold body and supports the inserted optical fiber insertion path molding pin.
