PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device capable of obtaining superior operability and rapidly switching a switch. SOLUTION: The switch device is equipped with a switch 2 in order to respectively carry out display of a menu item by two kinds of switch operations, and display erasing of the menu item by one switch operation out of the two kinds of switch operations, and an operation knob 3 to respectively carry out two kinds of switch operations by pressing operation of two mutually approaching directions (arrow heads b<SB>1</SB>, b<SB>2</SB>direction), and one switch operation by pressing operation of one direction (arrow head b<SB>1</SB>direction) out of two directions. The operation knob 3 has a first operation knob 5b to receive a pressing operation force of the arrow head b<SB>1</SB>direction, and the switch body (second operation knob) 5a to receive the pressing operation force of the arrow head b<SB>2</SB>direction.
