PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording and playback device compatible with multi-channel broadcasting, which efficiently transmits information and facilitates selection of required channel information, and records/reproduces the selected information, in a simple system. SOLUTION: Second time data adapted to the recording and playback device are created based on first time data added in advance.
