PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a server that are optimal for managing confidential information. SOLUTION: An image data storage means stores user-identification information and image data, set in association with each other. Upon the receipt of a leaving signal, regarding a specific user from an entry/exit information management device that manages the entry/exit of a user with respect to an area in which the image forming apparatus is installed, a transmission image data acquisition means acquires image data, having a security level equal to or higher than a predetermined level associated with the user identification information of the specific user out of the image data stored in the image data storage means to save the same in the server. An image data erasure means erases the image data. In addition, when the server receives an entry signal, regarding the specific user from the entry/exit information management device, an image data registration means stores the image data associated with the identification information of the user which is received from the server via a communication means in the image data storage means.
