PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operating cost in a power distribution apparatus, such as a fortified weatherproof type when being used in a rain-exposed region and a type equipped with a relatively large terminal cover when an additional instrument is attached, by facilitating the handling in each of the operations in distribution, storage and attachment and detachment of the instrument. SOLUTION: In the power distribution apparatus having a gauge 2 and a terminal portion 3, and a terminal cover 4 covering the terminal portion 3, under the condition where the gauge 2 is used, the size of the inner space of the terminal cover 4 is designed so that at least the gauge 2 of the gauge 2 and the terminal portion 3 can be stored for distribution-storage condition.
