PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-use instrument capable of performing a reset operation in accordance with a battery connection state, even in such a system that a first control means is disconnected from a power supply when a switch is turned off. SOLUTION: A vehicle-use instrument apparatus includes a pointer type meter 1 and the first control means 2 to be connected to a power supply 4 through a first power supply line L1 for controlling the pointer type meter 1, wherein the first control means 2 is connected to the power supply 4 by turning on a start switch (switch) 5 disposed on the first power supply line L1. In the vehicle-use instrument apparatus, a second control means 3 is provided which is connected to the power supply 4 through a second power supply line L2 and stores power supply interrupt information when a power supplying operation of the second power supply line L2 is interrupted, and the first control means 2 carries out the reset operation of the pointer type meter 1 on the basis of the presence of the power supply interrupt information when the start switch 5 is turned on.
