PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that, in a conventional construction, a large notch or hole is arranged on a crank shaft, so that a contact area of the crank shaft and the inner circumferential surface of a piston inserted into the crank shaft is reduced and the crank shaft is subjected to a large friction force, thus, the reduction of the contact area results in the enlargement of surface pressure per unit area, causing abnormal abrasion, seizure, or galling of the crank shaft and the inner circumference of the piston. SOLUTION: In a hermetic compressor, a crank shaft of a revolving shaft is constructed of materials having different specific gravity (for example, metal and resin). Thus, the centrifugal force generated by the crank shaft is reduced, and the abnormal abrasion, the seizure, or the galling of the crank shaft is prevented, thus, the compressor with low vibration, low noise, and high reliability can be provided.
