PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker corresponding to various community-based needs by effectively utilizing the limited display area of display means and loading not only a general menu but also a regionally specific cooking menu preferred only in a specific region and a menu reflecting a rice kind often distributed in the region. SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a rice cooker body 1; a pot 2 housed inside the rice cooker body for putting rice and water in; an outer lid 5 for freely openably and closably covering the upper opening of the pot; heating means 3 for heating the pot; display means 27; operation means 22; and region setting means 24 for setting a region of use inside the operation means.
