PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure which reliably prevents water from entering a case and avoids breakage of a connector. SOLUTION: A connector 1 secured to a fitting hole 11a of a metal case 11 of a motor mounted on an automobile is engaged with a connector 2 which is secured to a fitting hole 12a of a metal case 12 of an inverter. A waterproof structure 100 which allows the cases 11 and 12 to be waterproof is provided with an annuler first packing 8a which maintains watertightness between the case 11 and an overlap part 35 around the fitting hole 11a, between the surfaces crossing together in an engagement direction Y between the case 11 and the overlap part 35 of the connector 1. An annuler second packing 8b is arranged to the outer peripheral surface of a fitting hole insert part 62 of the connector 2 which maintains watertightness between the outer peripheral surface of the fitting hole insert part 62 and the inner peripheral surface of the fitting hole 12a, between the case 12 and a surface parallel to the engagement direction Y of the connector 2.
