PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving tray 11 which is improved in the stability of placing an agricultural product A so that the agricultural product A does not rock during conveying in a sorting apparatus 50. SOLUTION: The receiving tray 11 includes a receiving tray body 12 that has a side peripheral wall 21 and a bottom wall 22 and that is open upward. Inside the receiving tray body 12, there is mounted a receiving seat 14 that is made of a flexible elastic material and that has an inverted conical shape. Between the inside of the receiving tray body 12 and the reverse side of the receiving seat 14, a cavernous chamber 44 is structured for buffering elastic deformation of the receiving seat 14 which is caused by a pressurizing force when an agricultural product A is placed on the tray.
