PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity storage device for a vending machine, which reliably stores and sells a wide variety of canned beverages, PET beverages and bottle beverages without deformation, even when a regulating plate is formed of a thin steel plate. SOLUTION: The commodity storage device has a regulating plate 4 provided facing a commodity conveyance device 3 and includes engagement parts 5 which project to both sides of the regulating plate 4 so as to be inserted into and engaged with an opening hole 6 formed on a side plate 2. The engagement part 5 is formed by folding back the regulating plate 4, and a fixing means 18 to the side plate 2 is provided to the engagement part 5. Thereby, a wide variety of commodities can be sold while reducing costs without deformation or addition of other members even when the regulating plate 4 is formed of the thin steel plate.
