A fantasy league administration system is described herein that simplifies responsibilities of league administrators and improves the experience of managing a league for both commissioners and league participants. During the pre-season phase, the system helps commissioners setup a league to start the new season by copying information from a previous league season. Also during the pre-season, the system allows the commissioner to set deadlines for one or more events, such as payment of league participation fees. As the season begins, the system allows administrators to receive fees late based on previously configured late payment options, and to make payments to vendors or others from a league account managed by the commissioner and/or the league participants. As payments arise, the commissioner may submit a payment request to the league and the league may vote to approve or deny the payment.
