METHOD FOR PRODUCING HEAT INSULATION AND LAGGING MATERIAL FOR CONSTRUCTION ARTICLES

The invention pertains to the production of construction materials, i.e. both heat insulation and lagging materials for construction articles, structures, walls, partitions, mansards, floors, ceilings, etc. The method relates to different variants for producing heat insulation and lagging materials that contain amorphous silica (such as tripoli powder and micro-silica of industrial origin) and/or a silica-containing binder particularly obtained from a clay-based raw material (various clays) and an inorganic adhesive. The amorphous silica and/or silica-containing clay-based binder are mixed with a loose heat insulation filler having a given dispersivity during a predetermined time period until a uniform dry mixture is obtained. The mixture thus obtained is diluted using an aqueous suspension of an alkaline component while mixing during a predetermined time period, and the materials are shaped using a semi-dry pressing method and subjected to thermal processing.
