The kilt has a rounded oval-like cloth piece (1) provided with segments, an inner section (4) and a variable front closure (6), where the cloth piece has a lining (2) made from fleece-material. The inner section has an opening with front edges (5), and surrounds a lower part of a body of a seated person in a region between waist and hip, such that the edges lie one top of each other and are closed with the closure. The closure is positioned at the inner section, and a Velcro(RTM: hook and loop fastener) latch (8) is positioned on the edges at a distance to the inner section.
