PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device including a second rotating body which forms a fixation nip together with a pressure receiving member through a first rotating body, and capable of suppressing a level of heated lubricant. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: the first rotating body 9a; heaters 920 for heating the first rotating body 9a from inside; the pressure receiving member 940 coming into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the first rotating body 9a; and the second rotating body 9b which forms the fixation nip N9 while sandwiching a transferred material T between the pressure receiving member 940 and the second rotating body. The lubricant G is disposed between the inner peripheral surface of the first rotating body 9a and the pressure receiving member 940. A lubricant reserving part 970 for reserving the lubricant G is formed upstream of the pressure receiving member 940 in the rotating direction of the first rotating body 9a. The fixing device also includes a first heat-shielding member 980, which prevents the radiation heat, being emitted from the heater 920, from being directly emitted to the lubricant reserving part 970, and in which an end 980C comes into contact with or close to the inner peripheral surface of the first rotating body 9a on the upstream side of the lubricant reserving part 970 in the rotating direction of the first rotating body 9a.
