PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a rotation device and an openable/closable mobile terminal. SOLUTION: A rotation device includes a rotary shaft member, a holding member for rotatably holding the rotary shaft member, and a movable member held by the holding member and movable from a first position to a second position. When the movable member is at the first position, the movable member contacts the rotary shaft member to regulate rotation of the rotary shaft member. When the movable member is at the second position, the contact of the movable member and the rotary shaft member is canceled to release the rotation regulation of the rotary shaft member.
