PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce sound pressure of driving noise as compared to a former silent mode while maintaining performances equivalent to or greater than those in former silent mode. SOLUTION: This compressor 1 includes a rotary drive quantity control means 5 controlling rotary drive quantity of a motor means 3, a pressure state detection means 12 detecting a pressure state in a reservoir tank 8, and two compressed air forming means 13a, 13b disposed so as to face each other. The rotary drive quantity control means 5 of the compressor 1 reduces rotary drive quantity of the motor means 3 if the pressure states detected by the pressure state detection means 13a, 13b correspond to a prescribed range in the pressure state of the reservoir tank 8 when load value of a first compressed air forming means 13a and a second compressed air forming means 13b agree.
