PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram thread and paper for hologram thread, having a high counterfeit prevention effect, inexpensive and capable of being produced in a large amount. SOLUTION: This hologram thread has a layered constitution of a base film 2, a liquid crystal layer 3 arranged at the one side of the base film, a primer layer 4 arranged at the reverse side to the base film of the liquid crystal layer, an EPC line 5 printed on the primer layer, a hard coat layer 6 arranged at the reverse side to the liquid crystal layer of the primer layer and covering the EPC line, a hologram layer 7 arranged at the other side of the base film, a vapor-deposited layer 8 arranged at the reverse side to the base film of the hologram layer, a UV-anchor layer 9 arranged at the reverse side to the hologram layer of the vapor-deposited layer, a printed layer 10 arranged at the reverse side to the vapor-deposited layer of the UV-anchor layer, a fluorescent layer 11 arranged at the reverse side to the UV-anchor layer of the printed layer, a first heat-sealing layer 12 arranged at the reverse side to the printed layer of the fluorescent layer, and a second heat-sealing layer 13 arranged at the reverse side to the primer layer of the hard coat layer.
