PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package apparatus improved in workability for unpacking or disposal. SOLUTION: The package apparatus completes packing when cushioning materials 15 supporting both sides of an object 5 to be packed are inserted into a tubular outer box 6 to be bound by a band 7. Each cushioning material 15 includes an upper cushioning material 1 and a lower cushioning material 2 dividing the cushioning material 15 near the center in the vertical direction. The cushioning material 15 is formed in a tray shape when the material 1 and the material 2 are butted on each other. In unpacking the package apparatus, it is easy to remove the top and bottom cushioning materials 1 and 2 and the object 5 from the outer box 6, which improves unpacking workability. In taking out the object 5 from the cushioning material 15, the material 2 can be used as a placement table, which improves workability and can protect the object 5. The cushioning material 15 is divided into two after being unpacked to improve disposability, improves the number of cavities of a die for the production of the cushioning material and lowers the production cost.
