Disclosed is a string-winding tool for plant cultivation by which the placement of a load directly on a reel can be prevented in fixing a guide string, and the guide string can be stably unwound and fixed even in prolonged use. Specifically disclosed is a string-winding tool (1) for plant cultivation, comprising a main body (2) provided with an insertion hole (15) through which a guide string (R) is inserted, a reel (4) which is rotatably supported by the main body, and a string-fixing member (22) which is inserted from one side into the insertion hole and placed in a forward/backward movable manner in the insertion hole. This string-winding tool for plant cultivation is constituted so that, in the state where said guide string is inserted from the other side into the insertion hole and hung over the back side of the string-fixing member, the guide string is pulled out from the other side of the insertion hole and then held and fixed between the string-fixing member and the insertion hole while the string-fixing member moves forward, and the fixation of the guide string is released when the string-fixing member moves backward.
