<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler, a system and a method for removing heat from a subcutaneous lipid-rich cell. <P>SOLUTION: This cooler is a cooler for removing the heat from the subcutaneous lipid-rich cell of a subject having a skin. The cooler includes a plurality of cooling elements movable relatively each other to be adapted to a contour of the skin of the subject. The cooling element includes a plurality of controllable thermoelectric coolers. The cooling elements can be controlled to bring a time fluctuation cooling profile in a prescribed sequence, can be controlled to bring a spatial cooling profile in a selected pattern, can be regulated to maintain a constant process parameter, or can be controlled to bring a combination thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
