<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-output and low-cost two-cycle engine that suppresses deterioration in a characteristic value of exhaust gas due to blow-by. <P>SOLUTION: The two-cycle engine 1 includes an intake port 17 provided opposing an exhaust port 15 viewed in the direction of a cylinder axis 6, an exhaust side scavenging port 20 provided between the exhaust port 15 and the intake port 17 on an inside wall of the cylinder 4, an exhaust side scavenging passage connected to the exhaust side scavenging port 20, a rib 19 connecting a wall face 181 to a wall face 182 respectively at upper and lower parts of an intake passage 18 connected to the intake port 17, an intake side scavenging port 22 positioned at the upper part of the intake port 17 and provided overlapped with the intake port 17 viewed in the direction of the cylinder axis 6, and an intake side scavenging passage 23 extending in the direction of the cylinder axis 6 inside the rib 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
