<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member and shock absorbing structure for a vehicular panel, capable of absorbing effectively an shock from an outside of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: Heights of a surrounding wall 42 and each rib 46 of the second shock absorbing part 18 are made higher than heights of a surrounding wall 40 and each rib 44 of the first shock absorbing part 20. A wall thickness of each rib 44 is substantially same to a thickness of each rib 46, and the number of the rib 44 is equal to the number of the rib 46. and the second shock absorbing part 18 is thereby weaker than the first shock absorbing part 20, because the second shock absorbing part 18 is formed higher than the first shock absorbing part 20. The first shock absorbing part 20 is arranged on an inside of the vehicle and the second shock absorbing part 18 is arranged on the outside of the vehicle, and a higher shock absorbing force is obtained thereby in the outside of the vehicle than the inside of the vehicle, to reduce an impact force to the inside of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
