PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hair spray of which user can spray in a good feeling by re-examining the behavior of hair spray users in detail. SOLUTION: This aerosol type hair spray is characterized by filling ethanol stock liquid containing 0.1 to 27 mass% copolymer comprising a constituting unit of formula (1), and an aerosol propellant comprising a liquefied petroleum gas having 0.15 to 0.2 MPa initial inner pressure at 20°C such that the mixing mass ratio of the ethanol stock liquid to the aerosol propellant is in the range of (the ethanol stock liquid)/(the aerosol propellant)=(40/60) to (50/50).
