PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize an enzyme in the case of producing a saccharified solution by reacting the enzyme with a biomass comprising cellulose. SOLUTION: In the case of producing the saccharified solution by reacting the enzyme 7 with the biomass comprising the cellulose 1, the biomass is allowed to react with the enzyme 7 in a first reactor 21 to produce the saccharified solution comprising the enzyme 7 dispersed in the solution and a residue comprising unreacted biomass containing the enzyme 7 absorbed to the biomass. The saccharified solution is separated from the residue, a pH adjustment solution is supplied to the residue in a second reactor 22 to prepare a dilute solution having a sugar concentration lower than the concentration in the saccharified solution, and the residue is allowed to react with the enzyme 7 absorbed to the residue in the dilute solution to produce the saccharified solution.
