Disclosed is a method for producing a battery electrode, which is capable of improving the bonding strength (adhesion) between a collector and a mixed material layer. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a battery electrode that has a configuration wherein a mixed material layer containing an active material (22) and a binder (54) is supported by a collector (10). The formation of the mixed material layer is carried out by a process that comprises: a step in which a binder solution (50) containing the first binder (54) is applied to the collector (10), thereby forming a binder solution layer (56); a step in which a mixed material paste (40) is applied over the binder solution layer (56), thereby laminating the binder solution layer (56) and a mixed material paste layer (46) on the collector (10); and a step in which the binder solution layer (56) and the mixed material paste layer (46) are dried together, thereby obtaining an electrode in which the mixed material layer is formed on the collector (10). |
