A base station (110) transmits a paging signal (23) by a carrier (20) and transmits specific carrier information (12, 32, 42, 52) indicating the carrier (20) from carriers (10, 30, 40, 50) different from the carrier (20) in carriers (10, 20, 30, 40, 50).  A mobile terminal (120) is connected to the carrier (20) in accordance with specific carrier information (12, 32, 42, 52) received from the connected carrier and receives the paging signal (23) transmitted from the carrier (20).
