The ventilation profile has two profile flanges (1, 2) arranged together along a connecting line (3), where the ventilation profile is made of plastic. Ventilation openings (4, 5) are formed in the profile flanges. The connecting line is designed as a predefined bending edge (6) along which the ventilation openings are bent against each other. Two opposite groove-shaped slots (9, 10) are designed for forming the bending edge at sides (7, 8) of the ventilation profile. Two material layers (11, 12) are made of white plastic and black plastic, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a ventilation profile.
