A position estimating device is provided with a positioning section (111) which positions a current position; a detecting section (112) which detects the current action state of a user; a first scene estimating section (113) which estimates the current life scene of the user by means of a life scene corresponding to the current position, the current action state, and a current time from first estimation information containing life scenes being action scenes in the life of the user, time zones, positions, and the action states of the user; a second scene estimating section (115) which estimates a future life scene of the user by means of the next scene corresponding to the current life scene from second estimation information containing the life scenes and next scenes; and a first position estimation section (116) which estimates the kind of a facility where the user will be present a predetermined time later by means of the kind of a facility corresponding to the future life scene from first association information associating the life scenes with the kinds of facilities where the user is present in the life scenes.
