<p>A method and a system for establishing a mobile network connection are provided in the present invention. An interface between an initial Packet Data Network GateWay(P-GW) and a target P-GW is added. After the User Equipment(UE) accesses the target P-GW through an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) and a service gateway, and establishes the connection with a Trusted Non 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP) or an Evolved Packet Data Gateway(e-PDG), the UE initials the establishment of the security association with the initial P-GW, thereby the connection between the initial P-GW and the target P-GW is established. An external Packet Data Network(PDN) continues sending the downlink user data to the target P-GW, and the data is forwarded to the initial P-GW by the target P-GW and then is sent to the UE by the initial P-GW, thereby achieves business continuity. With the present invention, the UE is able to establish the communication with the target P-GW, the network resources are saved, and the speed at which the UE accesses a network and the user experience are raised.</p> |
