<p>A method and a receiver for data reception in a CDMA communication system are provided, so as to solve the problem of narrow application and unreliable performance existed in prior data reception methods. In the method, a receiver receives signals from at least one reception antenna, divides the signals into signals corresponding to different paths, respectively carries out equalization filtering for each group of multi-path signals, and descrambles the signals of each path. The descrambled signals of each path are despreaded, mixed, and decoded to obtain the received data. With a equalization reception process mode in the diversity reception method, data can be received effectively in conditions of high rate communication mode and bad channel quality, such that the reliability and the reception performance of the data reception method can be enhanced.</p> |
