<p>It is disclosed a DC-DC conversion method whereby a first inductor (L3) arranged in series with a first controllable semiconductor (T8) having a control input is excited, with the first series arrangement (L3, T8) supplied with an input voltage, to resonate with start-up capacitor means (C11), whereby an output voltage is derived from the resonance to control switching of a second controllable semiconductor (T7) which is arranged in series with a second inductor (L2) and which is coupled to the control input of the first semiconductor (T8) to control its switching. During prestart-up the conversion is started at a very low input voltage by creating resonance which starts early current switching in the first series arrangement (L3, T8), which alternately starts current switching in the second series arrangement (L2, T7).</p> |
