<p>A push rivet for securing a member to be mounted comprises a rivet body which is composed of at least a flange portion provided with an insertion hole, a pair of first split leg portions which project toward the front end side from the flange portion, at least one pair of second split leg portions which extend from the flange portion toward the front end side so as to define slits between the pair of first split leg portions and the second split leg portions, and bulged portions which project inwardly from the first split leg portions and the front ends of the second split leg portions and which have tapered surfaces inclined inwardly toward the tips; and a pin which is composed of at least a head which is fitted to the flange portion, a shaft portion which projects from the head toward the front end side and which is provided with a hollow portion in the shaft portion, corner portions which are provided on the side surfaces of the shaft portion and which are slid and fitted in the slits, and recesses which engage with the bulged portions of the second split leg portions so that the second split leg portions are expanded outwardly.</p> |
