The system has a housing (9), and an air channel for conducting air. A movable air control member (1) controls an air flow conducted by the air channel. Actuator e.g. electric motor, controls movements of the air control member. A mechanical system mechanically connects the actuator with the air control member. A friction element (5) generates a friction force between a moving part (6) and a fixed part (16). The friction element comprises a convex surface, and made of rubber and/or foam. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a motor vehicle air conditioning system. |
