<p>A device for rotatably mounting a camera on a person comprises a female connector (18) and a male connector (48). The female connector has a U-shaped slot (49) which is defined by a pocket (42) and a pair of opposed channels (44, 46) which extend from the pocket. A strap is connected to the female connector for mounting the device on the person. The male connector (48) has a circular plate (52) which is slidably received by the U-shaped slot (49) and is rotatable within the pocket (42) of the U-shaped slot between a first position in which it is secured to the female connector (18) and a second position in which is releasable from the female connector (18). More specifically the male connector (48) has a body (54) with a straight edge so that it is only releasable from the slot (49) of the female connector ((48) when the straight edge is aligned with one of the opposed channels (44, 46) defining the slot (49). A threaded member (5 8) extends from the male connector (48) for engaging a threaded tripod receiver of the camera.
