Polymer compsn. comprises: (a) 10-70 wt.% bifunctional thio(meth)acrylate monomer of formula (I) CH2=C(R1)-C(=O)-S-CH2CH2SCH2CH2-S-C(=O)-C(R2)=CH2 (I) in which R1, R2 = H or CH3 or a mixt. of monomer of formula (I) with at least one monomer of formula (II) CH2=C(R'1)-C(=O)-S-Ph-S-Ph-S-C(=O)-C(R'2)=CH2 (II) in which R'1, R'2 = H or CH3; (b) 10-60 wt.% of at least one monomer of formula (III) CH2=C(R3)-C(=O)-(OCH2CH2)m-O-CäCH3ü2-Ph-O-(CH2CH2O) n-C(=O)-C(R4)=CH2 (III) in which R3, R4 = H or CH3 and 0< = m+n< = 10; (c) 5-30 wt.% of at least one aromatic or polycyclic mono(meth)acrylate monomer; (d) 0-15 wt.% polyalkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate; and (e) 0-10 wt.% polythiol R(SH)n where n = 2-6 and R = n-valent organic gp. or a mixt. of polythiols.
