Method for measuring volume flow

The method involves optically determining a flow rate of fluids by an inlet (10) of a pipeline (1), and manipulating stream of the fluids by a manipulating device (12) that is arranged in the pipeline. Distribution of the flow rate of fluids is processed in a region of the pipeline and is uniformly maintained in a part (20) of a flow cross-section. The constant flow rate of the fluid is optically detected in the part of the flow cross-section, and the detected flow rate of volumetric rate of the fluid is determined through the pipeline.
